Music is a wonderful strategy for our visually impaired, multi-impaired, and deafblind children to develop their voice, speech, and singing skills. They can express their needs and feelings, as well as play an instrument. Some have a possible future through their musical group, "La Chinchera," but the most important thing about this project is that all our children learn, develop their talents, and are HAPPY...
Due to their disabilities, our children face significant difficulties in communication and language skills, fundamental pillars of personal and social growth. Furthermore, their learning, educational inclusion, and employment are severely challenged, and their future is compromised, affecting their quality of life and that of their families.
We have come to the conclusion that the musical space and the development of talents not only gives our children the opportunity to live and love music, but through it, it facilitates the acquisition of a universal language, the control of disruptive behaviors, attention, memory and improves learning... Families also see this space as an occupational and/or work opportunity and for the foundation it is an intangible in the network of knowledge and research.
Demonstrate that despite the learning differences due to our children's characteristics, with a good pedagogical model, they can have a better quality of life and true inclusion.
