FOURTH REPORT DONATION

By Silvia Navarro | Patricia Batista

Chihuahua, Chih. December 20, 2022.

FOURTH REPORT DONATION PROJECT:TREATMENT FOR 74 CHILDREN WITH MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY.

It is a pleasure to greet you for the fourth time and share our achievements, thank you very much to all our donors who join our noble cause through the GLOBALGIVING platform, also to those who contributed their donations to the GIVING TUESDAY CAMPAIGN. Your contributions are of crucial help in continuing to provide our children and youth with DUCHENNE with a comprehensive treatment service to address their condition.

On this occasion, the donations received corresponding to the months of September to December 2022, were used to provide physical and pulmonary therapies to our Beneficiaries, as part of their medical treatment indicated by our team of doctors.

Physical Physiotherapy: As a treatment in neuromuscular disorders, it helps to maintain and increase, to the extent possible, the child's current level of function and mobility. Its main purposes are:

• Provide a physical assessment

• Minimize the development of contractures

• Maintain muscle strength

• Prolong mobility and functionality

Respiratory Physiotherapy: In patients with DMD it is essential from a very young age, and its primary function is: Helping to expel secretions from the respiratory tree Avoiding bronchial obstruction and secondary infection as a consequence.

THANK YOU AGAIN FOR SUPPORTING US AND WE COUNT ON YOU.

…… The secret to getting ahead is to start.
