PROJECT REPORT – MULTIARTE PROGRAM
Throughout 2026, the MultiArte Project continues its work in public schools in São José dos Campos, in partnership with Instituto Alpha Lumen, strengthening art as a tool for expression, inclusion, and social development. The program expands access to culture for students in vulnerable contexts, promoting experiences that directly impact their personal and academic development.
By encouraging young people to express the world through their own experiences, MultiArte strengthens identity, self-esteem, and critical thinking, while also increasing school engagement and contributing to lower dropout rates. Art becomes a language of belonging, meaning-making, and future-building.
The program offers training in Photography, Audiovisual, and Band/Orchestra, with activities carried out within the school environment and guided by specialized professionals. The process culminates in the MultiArte Festival, where students present their creative productions to the community.
Key learning areas include:
*Photography
Visual storytelling and photo essays
Development of critical observation skills
Sudy of renowned photographers and visual references
*Band/Orchestra
Technical development (rhythm, tuning, ensemble practice)
Repertoire work and musical interpretation
Strengthening collective performance skills
*Audiovisual
Recording and video production techniques
Editing processes and creative storytelling
Use of tools such as chroma key and timelapse
*Theater
Exploration of contemporary social issues
Improvisation and scene development
Body expression and interpretive performance
In an integrated way, MultiArte strengthens autonomy, engagement, and purpose, with visible impacts on academic performance and student retention in school.
Miguel’s journey illustrates this impact: the project became a space for discovery and expression, expanding his sense of future and possibilities. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=znZrAI309_c
Experiences like this show how art transforms the way children and adolescents see themselves, broadening horizons and strengthening dreams.
Behind each activity are people who choose to transform part of their income tax into real opportunities. A simple decision, at no additional cost, but with direct impact on the lives of young people like Miguel, who begin to find voice, belonging, and new paths through art.
Supporting MultiArte means investing in talent, expanding access to culture, and opening concrete pathways for young people to build their own futures.
