Project Update – MultiArte

In 2026, the MultiArte Project will continue transforming the lives of children and teenagers from public schools in São José dos Campos, using art as a powerful tool for inclusion, youth leadership, and social development, in partnership with the Instituto Alpha Lumen.

Focused especially on students in socially vulnerable contexts, the project creates concrete opportunities for access to culture — a fundamental right that remains out of reach for many. By encouraging young people to portray the world through their own perspective, MultiArte strengthens self-esteem, critical thinking, belonging, and future aspirations, while also supporting school engagement and retention.

The program provides training in multiple artistic disciplines:

  • Photography
  • Video and Film (Audiovisual)
  • Dance
  • Band and Orchestra

All activities take place within public schools and are led by specialized professionals, culminating in the MultiArte Festival — a community-wide event showcasing the artistic work developed throughout the year.

Supporting MultiArte means expanding access to culture, reducing inequality, and generating direct social impact in the lives of young people who need real opportunities to develop their talents and build new pathways for their future.
