Beehives on the move

Before and after
Before and after

We can´t believe it! That´s what Edgardo, one of the honey producers that moved his beehives told us yesterday. After only 10 days on the mango orchards, the beehives are already producing honey. Mango trees have not yet bloomed but the bees are already producing honey. This means that Edgardo and the other beekeepers will obtain more honey than expected.

Good news travel fast. Antonio, a beekeeper that decided not to move his beehives is now convinced of the benefits of doing so. As he said, “Now I regret not moving my beehives”

So, it looks like, thanks to you, our bet paid off. Beekeepers will obtain a second honey harvest and other beekeepers are already convinced of the benefits of transhumance.

But we still need your support. We still need to fundraise more money to pay for to return the beehives.

Miel gracias
