Forum to Advance Minorities in Engineering, Inc.’s (FAME, Inc.) CORE STEM Fall/Spring Sessions are in full swing! Students (grades 7-12) returned in October, 2018 and programs will continue to operate through May, 2019. Throughout the school year, FAME, Inc. students will be engaged in rigorous Problem Based Learning (PBL) activities that focus on real world problems connected to English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, Technology, and Science Lecture & Lab.
FAME, Inc. is highlighting several of our 10th grade female students. These young ladies are truly on the path to STEM discovery! The four STEMist pictured are critically thinking and problem solving to develop an alternative energy source. Rich discussion, along with research, analysis and tests, help our best and brightest girls improve their design model and ultimately complete their challenge. FAME, Inc. is happy our students are able to have such vital learning experiences. We are greatly looking forward to 2019 and would like to wish everyone from our Global Giving family a Happy Holiday and New Year!
