Original round Fans
Original round Fans

From April 30th to May 4th, the 9th study tour was held. The participants in this tour were all women who had never been to India. When they saw the students for the first time, they opened their hearts right away, and made bracelets for fair trade goods together. On the next day, as special programs, which were prepared minutely by the participants, we enjoyed balloon relay games through which students and teachers exercised a lot. What’s more, we painted round fans originally as we liked. Some student made it shining, some wrote their name largely on it.

India has the intense hot season in May and June, so schools are in the summer vacation. Children look forwards to this period the best of all season. Some children go to their grandparents’ houses, and some go out to downtown with their families. One teacher asked them what they did everyday in the vacation, many of them responded that they played with friends living in neighborhood, then helped their parents, and after it was dark and cool they did their homework.

Schools in India start a new year in July. In Mother Baby School also the new school term began. In this year, the rainy season came earlier than in the average year, so it is a little troublesome to walk to school, but students come with energy every day. 18 new students enter into MBS. The newcomers were shy at first, but instantly they made friends with the students. We supposed to increase the number of computer classes for children to have more knowledge.
