Thank you always for supports to Mother Baby School.

*Class schedule: Monday-Saturday
8:30-12:30 (April-October)
9:30-13:30 (November-March)
*Subjects: Hindi, English, Math, Art
*Special lecture series: Each volunteer becomes a teacher and gives a lecture on each specialty
In December, we implemented the end of the fiscal year test in order to check the result of daily training. This autumn, we started the grade-based education, so students became able to understand more deeply. They looked excited at taking the test. In India, examinations are implemented each subject per day such as Hindi, English, science, social studies, art, and math. After that, winter vacation began, so students tried hard.
Before winter vacation, we held Christmas party, and we enjoyed shopping game. Students were given some money from teachers, and then they selected goods carefully. Volunteers from Japan became shopkeepers or shopped with students in the infant class. Students looked really happy and satisfied to get their favorite things like sandals, notebooks, cute memo papers, dolls and colored pencils and so on. After the game, Santa Claus came!He presented Japanese sweets students could rarely eat as rewards for studying hard.
We NPO On the road held the study-tour from 28th Dec 2014 to 3rd Jan 2015 in India. It was the fourth tour we ever held and the total of 18 people including university students and workers various occupations took part in. They found a lot of fulfillment in Varanasi through three days when they came to Mother baby School, with lunch picnic on board of Ganges, calls at the homes of one's pupils, cooking genuine India curry school staff Vivi taught, painting on the wall of class room.
In January, the members of “India Volunteer Study tour” planned by travel agency H.I.S. came to Mother Baby School twice. In the first tour, we did Japanese traditional event “Mamemaki”, where scatter beans shouting “devils out and good luck in!” and pray for the peace in family.Students enjoyed playing the roll in demon or striking devils with beans when teachers became devils. There was no end to laughter in Mother baby School. On the other hand in the second tour, the members sung a song whose title is “Believe” with sign language. Students were moved by amazing voices and sign languages.
The cold winter passed and the spring came in Varanasi.
We owe our happy new year in supporters.
Staffs in NPO on the road and also students in Mother Baby School greatly appreciate your supports.
