Dear Friends,
We are deeply grateful to you, our amazing supporters, for your unwavering dedication to this campaign. Your generosity has played a crucial role in providing much-needed support to teenage girls affected by the earthquake. As we prepare to close this chapter, we want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible achievements made possible by your kindness and express our heartfelt appreciation for all we’ve accomplished together.
It has been one year since the earthquake struck the Marrakech-Safi region, and Project Soar has worked tirelessly to support those impacted. Thanks to your donations, we’ve reached over 2,500 girls through 137 menstrual health workshops, distributed over 32,000 single-use menstrual pads, and provided 7,000 reusable menstrual products—empowering girls to reclaim their health, confidence, and dignity, even in the face of adversity!
Our impact data speaks volumes: of the 779 girl students surveyed, 98% found the workshops useful, and 98% reported a better understanding of how their bodies work during menstruation and how to use a reusable sanitary pad. These results highlight the significant impact that access to menstrual health education and products can have on girls' ability to manage their cycles effectively and with dignity.
As this campaign comes to a close, we want to remind our supporters that our mission to protect the menstrual health and rights of teenage girls in Morocco is far from over. Period poverty is a critical issue, and we remain committed to helping the girls who need it most. For this reasons, we invite you to continue supporting our work by contributing to our ongoing project, Stop Period Poverty for Girls in Morocco.
We look forward to staying connected and continuing this vital work together.
Thank you again for your unwavering support!
Warmest wishes,
The Project Soar Team
