Dear ChildFund Mx Donors and Partners
We are pleased to share with you the progress of our “More Play, Less Seizures for Rural Children” project for children in rural communities in Mexico, who face epilepsy and a constant struggle to access specialized medical treatment and services.
Thanks to your generous support, we are achieving a better quality of life for the children, but the challenge remains great.
Epilepsy is a disease that requires continuous medical follow-up and, in many cases, a complex and costly medication regimen. However, for children in vulnerable communities, access to this type of care is extremely limited due to several factors:
These challenges underscore the importance of continued support from donors like you. With your contributions, we are making it possible for children to have access to medications, specialized consultations and diagnostic studies that are essential to control their seizures and improve their quality of life. Your help not only contributes to their treatment, but also gives their families the emotional relief of knowing that they are not alone in this struggle.
We move forward with the conviction that together we can overcome these challenges. Every donation makes a difference in the lives of children with epilepsy, helping them build a healthier and brighter future. We are thrilled to see the achievements so far and are confident that, with your support, we will continue to make possible this dream of a world where epilepsy does not limit the right to a full and happy childhood.
With gratitude and hope, The ChildFund Mexico team
