More Play, Less Seizures for Rural Children

By Mauricio Flores | Project Leader

Dear Donors,

We are pleased to share with you the progress of the "More Play, Less Seizures for Rural Children" project. During the period from April to June 2024, we have been able to positively impact the health of nine girls and boys suffering from Epilepsy in rural areas, significantly improving their quality of life.

Overall Impact:

The interventions implemented have proven to be effective in improving the quality of life of the children served. Recreational activities have not only provided a safe space for the children to play and socialize, but have also contributed to the reduction of their seizure frequency. Financial support has been crucial in ensuring that they have access to the necessary medications, which is essential for their ongoing treatment.

Geremy from Hidalgo.
In June, he received a visit to implement activities to stimulate hand-eye coordination, to know if he continues attending therapy. In her progress he has improved a lot in physical and recreational activities.

Paloma from Hidalgo.
In June, she received economic support for the purchase of medicines. Paloma's quality of life has improved by being able to purchase her necessary medications.

Jesus from Hidalgo.
In June, he received financial support for the purchase of medicines. This support has allowed him to have greater mobility in his extremities.

Ángel from Puebla.
He received financial support to pay for medical consultation. Thanks to this, he is keeping his treatment under control.

Esthela from Puebla.
She received support for the purchase of medication (levetiracetam). Her health condition is stable thanks to the treatment.

Leydi from Puebla.
She received support for the payment of consultations and transportation for medical studies. Her health condition is stable thanks to the treatment.

Naithan from Edo Mex.

Jade from Edo Mex.
In April, she received economic support for the purchase of medication. Her epileptic seizures are under better control.

Jocelin from Edo Mex.

Appreciation:
These advances reflect the positive impact that donations have had on the lives of children and their families. Thanks to your generosity, we have been able to provide them with the necessary support to improve their quality of life and seizure management.

The progress in the children's lives would not have been possible without your valuable support. This has made a significant difference and we have been able to provide them with the necessary medications and treatments to improve their quality of life and seizure management.
¡We remain committed to the mission of bringing More Play and Less Seizures for Rural Children!
