Quarterly Report: "More Play, Less Seizures for Rural Children" Project
Dear Donors,
We are pleased to inform you about the significant progress achieved in the last quarter under the "More Play, Less Seizures for Rural Children" project. Thanks to your generous support, we have been able to positively impact the lives of girls and boys struggling with epilepsy in rural communities. Below, we highlight key accomplishments:
Medical Care and Updated Diagnosis: During this quarter, we have provided comprehensive medical care to a newly detected case of a 14-year-old teenage girl. We are pleased to report that we were able to stabilize her health condition, thanks to timely medical care and updated diagnosis. This achievement is a testament to the tangible impact we are making in the lives of children affected by this disease.
Collaboration with Institutions for Medicine Supply: In partnership with a local institution, we have secured the supply of some essential medicines for the treatment of epilepsy. This collaboration will enable us to obtain the necessary medicines to adequately care for affected children. In addition, we have established another strategic collaboration with an entity committed to medicine distribution in rural areas. Thanks to this collaboration, we will be able to improve our capacity to distribute and deliver medicines directly to the communities where epilepsy cases are found.
Impact on Quality of Life: Beyond medical care, our project is having a positive impact on the quality of life regarding children, adolescents and young adults and their families. By providing medical treatment and emotional support, we are helping to reduce the stigma associated with epilepsy in these communities. In addition, we are working on awareness-raising initiatives to promote a greater understanding of epilepsy and how to effectively address it.
We are deeply grateful for your continued support and confidence in our project. Each donation we receive brings us one step closer to our goal of bringing a healthier and happier life to rural children affected by epilepsy. We remain committed to our mission and look forward to sharing more achievements and progress in the coming quarters.
