As part of the project, UAnimals continued to deliver veterinary missions to frontline and remote communities where access to veterinary care remains extremely limited due to the ongoing war.
During two missions in Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts, our veterinary team provided assistance to 719 animals. In total, 592 animals were spayed/neutered, vaccinated against rabies, microchipped, and treated for parasites, while 110 animals received rabies vaccinations. Our veterinarians also provided 61 consultations and performed 27 additional treatments and surgical procedures.
These missions improve animal welfare, help prevent the spread of diseases, reduce the number of stray animals through humane sterilization, and ensure that animals in war-affected communities receive timely veterinary care when they need it most.
