The ongoing war in Ukraine has created a severe humanitarian crisis, leaving many animals abandoned, injured, or separated from their owners. UAnimals is addressing this crisis by deploying a mobile veterinary mission to provide essential medical care and sterilization services to stray animals in high-risk and hard-to-reach areas, including regions such as Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhia
The war in Ukraine has triggered a humanitarian crisis that has deeply impacted both people and animals. Many animals were abandoned or lost during evacuations. As a result, the number of animals in shelters and under volunteer care has surged. In frontline areas, volunteers and pet owners have limited access to veterinary services. Without adequate medical care and sterilization, the homeless animal population will continue to grow.
UAnimals will use donations to treat and sterilize animals in areas affected by shelling or located near the frontlines, including Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipro regions. With our mobile veterinary vehicle, we bring medical services to remote locations, equipped with everything needed for sterilization and medical care on-site. This allows us to respond to emergencies quickly and provide essential care to animals in need.
Medical treatment and sterilization are essential for reducing the stray animal population, improving their health, and promoting a more humane society. Providing regular veterinary care in war zones and frontline areas also helps stabilize regions where both people and animals are in dire need of support. Together, we can help create a Ukraine free from animal cruelty!
