Mobile Medical Mission

During this reporting period, Samaritan’s Fellowship Foundation organized three Mobile Medical Mission camps and provided healthcare assistance to more than 210 patients from underserved communities. Most patients were women, while children and men also received consultations, basic treatment, medicines, and health guidance.

Expanding Care Through Partnership

A major development during this period was our collaboration with Lifeline Medical Care Foundation. Previously, the cost of engaging doctors and arranging medicines limited the number of areas we could reach. Through this partnership, we have been able to share professional and medicine-related costs, making it possible to serve more patients with the resources available.

SFFP staff also strengthened coordination with relevant government departments and like-minded organizations. These relationships improve referrals, reduce duplication, and help families access existing public healthcare resources where further treatment is required.

What We Learned From Patients

The camps identified several recurring health concerns:

• Illnesses linked to contaminated or insufficient water
• Symptoms associated with malnutrition
• Infections and preventable health conditions
• Gynecological and menstrual-health concerns among women
• Limited awareness of hygiene and reproductive health

These findings confirmed that treatment alone is not enough. Communities also require prevention, health education, safe water, and continued follow-up.

Follow-Up and Preventive Support

Following the camps, our teams and partners returned to selected communities to address some of the underlying causes identified during patient assessments.

With support from partners, household water filters were arranged and distributed among participating families exposed to unsafe drinking water. Women also attended follow-up sessions covering personal hygiene and menstrual health, during which sanitary pads were provided.

With the cooperation of the Family Planning Association of Pakistan and the Pakistan Girl Guides Association, community sessions also addressed responsible birth spacing, protection from sexually transmitted infections, and informed family-health choices.

Strengthening Our Team

Alongside field activities, SFFP invested in staff training and professional capacity-building. By improving coordination with healthcare providers, government departments, and community organizations, our Mobile Medical Mission is becoming more efficient, referral-focused, and responsive to the actual needs identified in each community.

The limited funds raised through GlobalGiving have not yet allowed us to operate at the scale envisioned. However, SFFP has continued the work through locally mobilized resources, organizational support, and partnerships.
