Dear Donors,
The mobile library project is started to benefit the young children in the slums New Life works. The library contains a limited number of storybooks, essays, books on leaders, general knowledge books and general books. The aim of the library is to have a wide array of books on different topics which induce the interest of the children and youth in the community to read more and gain in-depth knowledge on varied subjects. Also, it is proposed to provide the youth who are in the verge of their education and have to prepare for their careers, with books that prepare them for the competitive exams and the interviews they have to face.
Guru (name changed) who is in 9th standard borrowed an essay book and a storybook. When asked about the use of the library he said that he is interested in speech and essay competitions. The books from the library will help him to learn more about new topics. He is confident that with the books he can borrow from the library, he can deliver an effective speech. Rama (name changed) another member of the library says that she borrowed a book on grammar last time and it helped her to improve her English.
The mobile library is now operating with the minimum facilities the organisation has as of now. If we get more support we are sure that these children will be able to access more books. So dear donors kindly support this project and help us facilitate the children to compete in this competitive world.
