Dear Donors,
Independence Day was celebrated in Kodappu for the members and non-members of the mobile library on 15th August 2021. A talk on the importance of reading books was given by the Secretary of the organisation.
Some of the members volunteered to share their experiences with the mobile library.
One of the members who is a schoolboy shared how his vocabulary in English is developed after joining the library. Two of the members shared about great leaders, who inspired them. Two more boys shared their experiences with the library. One of them shared how he is utilizing the library to the maximum by referring to varied books for his subjects as well as knowledge. He also shared that he prefers books of non-fiction to improve his knowledge. The other one shared that he is peeping through the knowledge window now and can see the world from varied angles now.
The celebration was a grand success and the non-member attendees said that they would like to join the library. Our coaching class children are enjoying reading more books as they are staying at home attending online classes due to Covid.
Few more books are added during this quarter to the collection. Thank you, dear donors, for helping us to create a wonderful resource for our children. Kindly keep supporting the project as it serves many people.
Thanking you
With regards

Dear Donors,
The Republic Day and Samathuva Pongal were celebrated at New Life's Kajapettai Early Learning Centre on 26th January. It was celebrated to foster freedom, peace, unity and compassion. The flag was hoisted by the chief guest Rtn. Valarmathi, President, Rotary Club of Trichirappalli Sakthi. Competitions were conducted for women (kolam competition) and children (sack race and frog race). Prizes were sponsored by RCT Shakthi. Pongal was distributed and sweets given.
It was lovely to see our alumnae participate in the competitions conducted. Jassi (name changed) was a student of our early learning centre during 2009-11. She is now studying in 9th standard. She compered the Republic Day programme. She thanked the New Life team for giving her the motivation even after she left the early learning centre. She is able to study well and participate in programmes only with the continuous support provided to her by New Life's coaching class.
We thank you, dear donors, for supporting poor, deprived, deserted children like Jassi to have a safe childhood with nutritious food and help them to achieve age-appropriate milestones. Kindly keep supporting these poor children who are from difficult circumstances. Keep spreading the words about the project to your friends and relatives. Even your small contributions are valuable for our children. During this pandemic time, we are providing nutritious food to the children and help us help them.
Thank you.
With regards

Dear Donors,
We, the New Life team and the children benefitted by you wish you a "HAPPY AND WONDERFUL YEAR AHEAD!" May we emerge out of this pandemic situation with more strength and restore back to normalcy.
Sandhya (name changed) who is doing her final year graduation in Biochemistry says that the mobile library of New Life is of much use to people who live in her slum. She loves to borrow books on General Knowledge from the library. She is thankful to New Life and its donors for facilitating this project.
Thank you, dear donors, for supporting this project of New Life. This helps us to lend books on knowledge, educational subjects and fiction to the children, adolescents and women like Sandhya who had been deprived of reading a wide array of books. Kindly continue to support projects of New Life and spread words to your friends and relatives.
Thanking you once again.
