This project will deliver essential food packages to vulnerable families in Egypt, helping them cope with rising food costs and meet basic needs with dignity. Since 2022, we have grown from supporting 15 families to 35, helping families buy food, keep children in school, and cover urgent needs, with 100% of donations going directly to recipients because the founders cover all operating costs. For every $360 raised, we will be able to provide essential food support to an additional family.
Many families in Egypt are struggling to afford basic food as the cost of living continues to rise. For low-income families, widows, seniors, and families with children, even staple items such as rice, pasta, lentils, oil, and sugar can become difficult to buy consistently. When families cannot afford food, they are often forced to make painful choices between eating, paying for medicine, keeping children in school, or covering other essential needs.
This project will provide direct food support to vulnerable families in Egypt through a mobile food bank model. We will purchase and deliver essential food packages directly to families who need support, helping them meet basic needs with dignity. Since 2022, we have grown from supporting 15 families to 35 families, helping families buy food, keep children in school, cover urgent medical expenses, and get through difficult periods. Every $30 provides essential food for one family for one month,
Reliable food support can make a meaningful difference in a family's stability and well-being. By reducing the pressure of food insecurity, this project helps families focus on health, education, and other basic needs instead of day-to-day survival. Over time, we hope to expand from 35 families to many more, reaching additional households with consistent, practical support. As donations grow, the mobile food bank will allow us to respond quickly to urgent needs and provide dependable assistance
