We are pleased to share important progress in our Mobile Virtual Classrooms initiative.
Following the recent change in government administration in January, we have successfully established alignment and new working agreements with the incoming local authorities. These partnerships position us strongly to move forward with implementation and ensure institutional coordination at the community level.
Our model remains focused on transforming public primary schools into community technology hubs. During the mornings, we provide digital skills training to children; in the afternoons, we train teachers; and later in the day, we extend access to adults. This intensive use of the classroom infrastructure allows the entire community to progressively “speak the language of technology,” fostering a culture of digital inclusion that benefits all generations.
In preparation for the next phase, we have:
Conducted the first technical testing of our computer equipment to ensure optimal performance and readiness.
Advanced new strategic partnerships aimed at strengthening online employability pathways for adult participants, ensuring that digital literacy translates into real economic opportunities.
Secured a key connectivity alliance with Héroes Digitales, who will provide Starlink satellite internet service free of charge to support the operation of our mobile classrooms. This contribution significantly reinforces the operational stability and connectivity capacity of the program in remote areas.
This connectivity partnership is a major milestone, as reliable internet access is essential for delivering high-quality digital training in rural and indigenous communities. With the equipment tested and connectivity secured, our mobile classrooms are technically ready to operate at full capacity.
We are entering this next phase with strengthened institutional backing, improved infrastructure, and expanded partnerships designed to ensure that digital education leads to meaningful educational and economic outcomes for children, teachers, and adults alike.
Thank you for making it possible to bring technology, opportunity, and long-term transformation to communities that need it most.
