At Minnesota Tech for Success (MTFS), we are committed to promoting digital equity for all. Our programs offer essential technology access, engaging STEM education, and comprehensive IT workforce training, primarily serving underserved BIPOC communities. Your contributions are making a tangible difference in the lives of more students across MN.
Over the past five years, MTFS has faced numerous challenges, from our unexpected move to the disruptions caused by the pandemic and the continuing economic shifts that are happening. Our team has worked tirelessly to navigate these changes, but our financial reserves, which once helped us through tough times, have now been exhausted. Your support is helping us to rebuild our financial stability. With your contributions, we are strengthening programming and are serving more MN students.
In 2024, MTFS trained 317 students. Funds from this project have provided 140 laptops for students so far! We have provided courses in basic digital literacy in Computer Essentials and our Microsoft Office Essentials course along with CompTIA IT Fundamentals +.
Funding moving forward will strengthen our capacity to provide crucial access to both computer technology and training. MTFS plays a pivotal role in helping BIPOC individuals in the Twin Cities overcome barriers that hinder them from securing IT-related careers via no-cost, stackable IT certification training, as well as networking opportunities, internship placements, career guidance, and case management services.
Thank you for your support and dedication to our mission. We hope that you will continue to follow us and support this extremely important work.Together, we are creating greater impact for under served students!
