The best education and learning is received when one goes out and travel.
Students are provided with all the opportunities so that no field goes untouched. The starting of the New Year 2019 brought educational and memorable trip for all our students. Three different trips were organized where students were taken to different locations all over India. 50 students along with 5 teachers were on a two week tour of Maharashtra, another group to Delhi and the third one to Jaipur & Agra.
The students were all set to learn, explore, and experience the diversity of the Nation. The trip to Maharashtra commenced on 31st Dec and they celebrated the New Year on train. Everyone was excited to reach the city of dreams – Mumbai. The visit was carefully planned and curated to give a taste of history, culture & industrial exposure for the children. The Elephanta Caves, Ellora and Ajanta, Sinhagad Fort, Dhaultabad Fort, Aga Khan Palace, Mani Bhavan were part of the travel itinerary. Children also visited a TV studio. Meeting the TV stars added more zeal to the trip. The trip brought learning, experience, knowledge, team work and lots of fun.
The other group started its journey on 1st Jan. 2019. The students of class 7 were all set to experience the life in Delhi for a week. Class 7 was chosen because there curriculum was aligned to the places that are being visited. Visit to Qutub Minar and Humayun’s Tomb gave a glance to life of Mughal Emperors and the Delhi Sultanate. Akshardham Temple was the highlight of this trip as they never imagined such wonderful light and sound show. The Rail Museum added more fun to the learning part. The whole trip was a fun learning experience.
Group to Jaipur and Agra started its journey on the 4th of January. The students were charmed to admire the beauty of one of the seven wonders – The Taj Mahal and couldn’t stop themselves from clicking the photographs. The next stop was the Pink City – Jaipur where students visited Amer Fort. Learning about these monuments, the past stories of our rulers and kings were laid down in front of us. Birla Temple was one of the most beautiful attractions of Jaipur City. The students returned back with their bags full of memories and experience.
These trips were possible because of the generosity of so many new friends.
