MID DAY MEALS FOR DISABLED CHILDREN (16999)
(A Balajothi Centre for the Disabled Project)
Report due on : Oct 3, 2018
Report sent on : Sep 16, 2018
Greetings from Balajothi !
This report showcases the all round development of our special children, since the last report, showing their good health and continued well being due to the nutritious meals being given to them, by YOU, the donor, who has donated generously the sum of US $ 9,299.99 to date.
‘No hungry child in Balajothi’ concept was originally conceptualized in 2004 by its Founder Directors Josephine and Balaraj, who gave up their overseas career and started this centre in India. Having personally experienced the pain and suffering of bringing up a 100 % intellectually challenged child in the family, they pledged their support and resources in order to realize this dream. To date the ngo has been living up to this concept and its success is reflected on the smiling faces and healthy complexions of our special children. With the help of kind hearted philanthropists Balajothi Centre has been able to provide nutritious mid day meals to all its special children through the year.
The concept focuses on every hungry child who needs a healthy meal during school hours and is not limited to children alone. Any special child or adult in the vicinity makes a beeline to Balajothi knowing very well that a hot, nutritious and fresh food will be served to them.
Though not funded abundantly Balajothi serves these underprivileged special children day after day and survives to battle another day the pangs of hunger. Balajothi’s grateful thanks to YOU donor for helping us in this noble service, through the fundraising platforms of GlobalGiving.
Our heartfelt and deep gratitude to GlobalGiving for their ongoing motivation, guidance and support to ngos in helping the needy and underprivileged all over the world.
Warm regards.
