Poverty2Prosperity.org continues to expand the number of loans we are making to those seeking them for tuition and education needs as this is an important area for breaking the cycle of poverty. To date we've made 71 loans which is great for a fund in such an early stage. A big difference with this fund is that loans tend to have longer repayment terms such as 36 months vs 12 months, so it takes longer for us to be able to use repayments to fund additional loans than in our other funds. Here is information from the very latest loan we've made. You might find it interesting.
The loan was made to a young man named, Ronal, who lives in Peru. This loan has been fully funded!
Ronal is a young student at SENATI who is studying for his technical degree in Electrical Engineering, in which he has always been interested since he was very young. It is also one of the degrees in most demand today. Because of this, he dreams of starting his own business to create jobs for people who need them. He has already been studying for a year and a half and he still has 2 and a half years left to finish his degree.
Currently his studies are going very well, the only problem is that he doesn't have the necessary economic resources to continue since the degree that he is studying is one of the more expensive degrees. Yet he is still thinking about specializing in Telecommunications or Industrial Electronics.
He asks for help to cover the debt from the 3rd semester tuition and to not truncate his dreams to be an excellent professional, to start his own business and create jobs for people who need them. This help will also allow him to be a more productive and competent person because he will only dedicate himself to his studies.
Ronal feels very appreciative and satisfied with the help offered because he will be able to continue his studies. He wants to express a few words: "I feel very happy and appreciative because I know that you are helping me and many young people like me finish our degrees. Never stop helping young people that want to succeed in life by being excellent professionals.
