WOW! We are so excited. We did it. We exceeded our Global Giving "challenge period" fund-raising goals during the month of December, 2015. We set out to raise $5750 and we've raised $6300 given from 53 donors. Twenty other people donated an additional $2,152 by sending their donations directly to Bambi Uganda Orphans. That brings the amount raised for medicine to a grand total of $8,452 from 73 donors!
This will allow us to become a permanent partner with Global Giving and continue this and other projects to gain financial support for the activities of Bambi Uganda Orphans.
With these donations, our expanded mobile clinic will reach more and more villages. We'll buy more medicine so we can treat the orphans and their community members, instead of running out of the medicine in need.
In addition we reached over 32,000 new people on Facebook, 891 people "liked" our post and 262 people shared it with others.
On behalf of the founder Conche McGarr and all Bambi Uganda Orphans team members, thank you to EVERYONE who donated, shared our post, and helped spread the word.
You are changing lives.
The photos will give you a brief look at the work we do during a visit of our Mobile health Clinic. We will use your donations to obtain more medicine to better help those in need of medical attention.
