This project is to provide medical care services to victims of violence who have been recently resettled in their new land.
The families living in this area are the victims of post election violence who were displaced in the year early 2008. The government has resettled them in a new piece of land and there are no any social amenities within. They have no any hospital nearby and they walk for 6 miles to the nearest clinic which do not even have a maternity ward or in patient department in case of any of the patients need to be admitted. The population to benefit is around 4,000 persons.
It will reduce the number of death and mothers will have access to maternity services. Most of the affected within this population are children.
This is a permanent project which will serve this community for many years. The families will have access to medical care services.
