Greetings to all our donors and well wishers,
First of all, Thank You for your generous donations towards the supplements for the kittens under our care. 78 of them found homes in the last 3 months. We could do this only with your help and we are immensely grateful for that.
Apart from our medical and trauma care unit, a big part of our shelter are our permanent residents. With our permanent resident dogs and cats, we also have the Care Barnyard which houses rescued farm animals. It includes Maggie and Snuffles, who are two adorable, not so little piggies. Giving them company are the ducks, roosters and hens, rabbits and Guinea pigs. To this eclectic mix, we recently welcomed a rescued turkey and named him Sheldon Pooper. Together all these animals, make up the Care Barnyard and live in such harmony, in a synergistic relationship with each other, the sight of which warms our hearts. Every month, Care spends about 310 $ on food for the barnyard animals.
