Survivors of Police Brutality Need Medical/Trauma

By Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri | Project Leader

Dear Donors,

We sincerely thank you for your interest in the Medical Aid for Victims of Police Brutality project. At this time, no donations have been received, so the planned medical and trauma support activities have not yet begun.

Many survivors of police violence and #EndSARS-related brutality across Nigeria continue to live with untreated injuries, emotional trauma, and long-term health complications. Some victims still struggle with gunshot wounds, fractures, chronic pain, disability, and psychological distress without access to proper medical treatment or counseling support.

Without urgent medical and mental health intervention, many survivors remain trapped in pain, emotional suffering, financial hardship, and reduced quality of life.

This project is designed to provide medical treatment, trauma counseling, rehabilitation support, and mental health services for survivors of police brutality. The project also aims to support documentation efforts and dialogue activities focused on healing, accountability, and prevention of future violence.

With the right support, more survivors can receive needed healthcare, begin emotional recovery, and regain stability in their lives and communities.

We remain hopeful that support will come so this important medical and trauma recovery project can begin and reach vulnerable survivors across Nigeria who urgently need care and support.

Thank you for your kindness and continued support.

Sincerely,

Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
Project Leader
