Medical aid for civilians in Ukraine

On December 5th, as we marked International Volunteer Day, Bevar Ukraine reached an important milestone—our 500th humanitarian truck was loaded and sent to Mykolaiv. This achievement reflects years of dedication from volunteers, donors, and partners who have supported our mission since 2014.

The loading took place in Ringsted, where dozens of volunteers came together to prepare vital aid for communities affected by the war. Their efforts ensured that essential supplies are now on their way to those who need them most.

We are deeply grateful to the many partners, organizations, and individuals who joined us, as well as to our volunteers across Denmark who continue to contribute their time and energy. Each action—big or small—helps sustain our work and strengthens Ukraine’s resilience.

Together, we continue to deliver hope, support recovery, and stand with Ukraine.

In this update, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Frank Møller for his incredibly generous donation of 40 pallet boxes—perhaps the strongest ones in all of Denmark! These durable boxes will now play a crucial role in safely transporting humanitarian aid to communities in Ukraine. Each box we load represents hope, stability, and the promise of support reaching those who need it most.

We also want to express our deep gratitude to the volunteers who helped with the loading. Their energy, teamwork, and dedication made it possible for us to prepare everything for transport efficiently. Without these committed volunteers, our mission simply would not be possible. Together, donors and volunteers form the backbone of our work, ensuring that lifesaving assistance continues to reach Ukraine when it’s needed most.
