Fatima Memorial Hospital believes in service excellence and quality health care for the ailing humanity. Philosophy of Fatima Memorial Hospital is cross subsidization where funds generated from affording patients are utilized for the benefit of underprivileged and indigents.
Pakistan is facing a serious hunger problem and the situation is likely to worsen in the coming years, according to a report by the Washington-based International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI).
The country is ranked at 106 among 119 developing countries in the Global Hunger Index, lagging behind India and most African states and standing at the high end of the ‘serious’ category.
Food security is a fundamental element of poverty alleviation. However, achieving it is a necessary but not sufficient condition to prevent malnutrition and ensure adequate nutrition for all. When there is an uncertain access to nutritious, safe and varied food for a household or an individual, that household or individual is food insecure.
Keeping in view the above facts, the Hospital is striving for improvement and continuously working towards providing the poor healthcare, food, and necessities. The trust over the years, has managed to provide quality healthcare facilities to the underprivileged. The sole purpose of the hospital is to provide quality medical care to the indigenous in every possible way. Now the Hospital is also making sure that the patients are provided with quality food at all times. The entire underprivileged patients visiting Fatima Memorial Hospital are provided with food.
In order to ensure these poor patients and their families are provided food, we require your maximum support. Iftar is the meal served after breaking of Fast in the holy month of Ramadan and since the patients come from very poor backgrounds a proper meal is sometimes simply not possible thus we serve our patients and their families iftari.
The Hospital is focusing on providing these patients with food through the year and not only limited to the month of Ramadan.
Your support has been immense and we would like to urge you to continue the same.
We look forward to further assistance from you.
