Maui Grassroots Collective provides urgent food, water, medical care, and housing support to families impacted by wildfires and storms across Maui. Through a trusted network of community-led organizations, we deliver rapid relief and long-term recovery services to ensure vulnerable communities are not left behind.
housands of Maui residents remain displaced after wildfires destroyed over 4,000 homes and ongoing storms continue to damage already fragile living conditions. Many families face housing instability, rising costs, and limited access to food, healthcare, and recovery resources. Without consistent support, vulnerable communities, including Native Hawaiian families and those already unhoused, are at risk of prolonged displacement and deepening hardship.
This project will provide food, water, hygiene supplies, medical care, and emergency shelter to families impacted by wildfires and storms across Maui. Through coordinated outreach, we will distribute essential supplies, deliver culturally grounded healthcare, and support housing stability through advocacy and resource navigation. By strengthening a trusted network of responders, we ensure immediate relief while helping communities recover and rebuild long-term.
This project will support over 2,000 individuals annually by strengthening a coordinated network that provides consistent access to food, healthcare, and housing support. By stabilizing frontline organizations and advancing housing protections, we help reduce long-term displacement and prevent future crises. Over time, this work builds a resilient, community-led system where impacted residents can access care, maintain stability, and shape their own recovery.
