Challenge

Mainly, the Vezo people depends on the sea to make a living but Now the marine resources has changed because of it's too much pression and climat change;so now the Vezo face a big challenge to make living because their catch is no the same as it was like. So they are struggle to make a living because what they make today is for food today but some they come with an empty hand

Solution

So we've found that octopus temporary is the way to improve their revenues and to engage them in marine conservation as it allow the octopuses population to recover and grow as it grow quickly, not only octopus but fish and sea cucumber as well

Long-Term Impact

This porject will engage the community in marine conservation and marine resources management because by closing off areas of the reef for a 3 months at a time, the community allows octopus populations to recover and thrive, and coral to remain healthy. When the reefs reopen, the bounty is greater, ensuring a sustainable source of income and also improve their revenues, it price is increasing during the opening and doing temporary reserve is like saving money for them
