Likizo ya furaha (Happy Holidays) from Kenya! As the year comes to an end, we continue to be so grateful for your support of the Dr. Joe Mamlin Humanitarian Fund.
Lives are truly saved and changed by your generous donations to AMPATH. As many of you know, this has been a challenging year for Kenya, but here we are at the end of 2017, on the other side of doctors’ strikes, nurses’ strikes, and two Presidential elections.
AMPATH's programs have been shaped and inspired by Dr. Mamlin's vision to treat the whole patient, not just a disease or an illness. AMPATH's Population Health approach with universal insurance coverage for all has made significant gains in 2017. Universal health coverage is not easy to attain but the dream of Dr. Joe Mamlin and AMPATH's visionary leaders is moving forward.
