Zubaida was a fragile little girl when she was brought to SHINE Humanity's Sehat Ghar (Nutrition Center) in Sujawal, Sindh. After losing her mother’s care, she was lovingly taken in by another family member who had no children of her own. Though her new guardian gave her all the love she could, she was unable to breastfeed, and little Zubaida slipped into severe malnutrition.
When she arrived, Zubaida weighed only 4.5 kg, and her MUAC measured just 10.3. With timely treatment through Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF) and regular follow-ups, her health began to improve. After 8 visits, her weight increased to 6.2 kg, and her MUAC reached 12.3.
Today, Zubaida is stronger, brighter, and filled with hope for the future, all because our Malnutrition services provided her timely quality care.
