Dear donors and supporters,
This is the last day to report and I'm at a loss. The pandemic has been brutal in the regions that we work in but we are particularly focused on areas of hunger and malnutrition in Kenya. We have been wiring funds from donations to buy powdered moringa from the communities that have been successful in growing trees and powdering the leaves to sell.
The recipients from donations will be mostly for families who are dealing with food insecurity. During this pandemic, its been catastrophic ln rural areas who live a subsistent life. While we have been focused on sustainability and creating income through agriculture that provides optimum nutrition, Kenya has stopped congregating and merchants are unable to sell their wares. Today, the need is difficult to describe because the reports I get are filled with grave concern for the near future to deal with the growing hunger crisis.
As we all go through this pandemic around the world, we are glad to see Kenya take wearing of masks seriously. We are watching closely and wish our partners strength and resolve to do whats necessary to end this cruel pandemic.
Thank you for your donations and particularly those who are subscribers. Even a small amount adds up.
