In recent years, the traditional gender barriers within various organizations have been breaking down, leading to increased opportunities for girls to participate in activities that were previously considered exclusive to boys. This report focuses on the remarkable journey of two girls from Malaika shelter who have become integral members of Scouts of the local team.
Participating in activities outside the confines of the family home is crucial for the growth and development of children. The two girls have gained independence and autonomy by joining Scouts. They have explored their abilities, talents, and interests in a supportive and inclusive environment.
The participation of the two girls exemplifies the significance of providing opportunities for young individuals to experience independence, inclusion, discipline, solidarity, and team spirit outside the confines of their family homes. By engaging in activities traditionally associated with boys, the girls are not only breaking gender stereotypes but also growing personally and socially. The experiences gained in the Scouts will undoubtedly contribute to their overall development and equip them with lifelong skills, preparing them to become confident, compassionate, and well-rounded individuals.
Please help us support the kids in their studies and allow them to access a better life. Consider starting a monthly donation.
