It is our Joy to see the out of School youth advancing through IGAs
Quite often we have seen the youth under our support making high strides towards achieving their goals. During this period follow up of youth in their respective homes to witness their projects in real situation was the major activity. Through observation it was noted majority had started their own income generating activities ranging from vegetable growing, establishment of nursery beds, coffee growing and banana management. Among the many, MK testified that from his vegetable garden he was able to earn 95 dollars within one season as net income. MK specialized in growing vegetables with major focus on cabbages. He further said that is aiming at establishing a green house to enable him grow crops through the year without fear of dry spell as a result of unfavorable weather changes. His ambition as well is to see people of his community have access to good dietary foods at affordable price
