MakersLab is a space to materialize ideas and create prototypes. Within the framework of the constant transformation of laboral market´s needs and its impact in various industries, this innovation laboratory equipped with technology and specialized tools offers new opportunities to people, specially for youth. The MakersLab is an open space for people of all ages and focuses on the creation of projects through engineering, 3D modeling and digital design.
The students of the MakersLab programs learn to program, use laser cutters, 3D printers and to do vector design. At the end of 2017, the MakersLab 1 had a total of 980 registered and 591 graduates, this year with your donation we can create a second space for more people.
With the MakersLab programs we have managed to receive a predominantly young population that is interested in disarming, rearming, building and creating. The success stories of MakersLab have been very interesting, as is the case of a group of young people who are doing graphic designs with laser cutters on skateboards and currently have a custom skateboarding business.
The MakersLab is a platform for the materialization of ideas, since people go through a creative process from the conception of their project to the development and creation of it. We need you help to create more spaces like this in order to attract youth!!! More innovators, more prepared persons, more opportunities.
