According to the National Statistics Institute, more than the 35% of the mexican population don't have access to the Internet, and more than the 55% to a computer either. In this scenario, with data from the OECD, the TIC sector only represents the 1% of the employments, produces .8% of the intellectual property in the world and only 0.4% of GDP is invested in science, technology and innovation; this is a disadvantage for Mexico and its population, in the future this could turn into a threat.
