According to the National Statistics Institute, more than the 35% of the mexican population don't have access to the Internet, and more than the 55% to a computer either. In this scenario, with data from the OECD, the TIC sector only represents the 1% of the employments, produces .8% of the intellectual property in the world and only 0.4% of GDP is invested in science, technology and innovation; this is a disadvantage for Mexico and its population, in the future this could turn into a threat.
To teach Sciences, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics to mexican children, youth and adults, with different levels of education, creates spaces where people can imagine, inspire their creativity and innovate to create new projects from cero, and develop digital capabilities through the use of 3D Printing, Laser Cut, Electronic and Robotics, which will help them to prepare for the challenges and get better opportunities in the new jobs of today and the future, launch entrepreneurship project
This project will be located in the Innovation and Learning Net, RIA in Spanish, which consists in 70 Centers in low income communities . With the project, there will be more spaces that support kids to develop their creativity, new habilities and interests to the Jobs of the future; youth will reach their full potential, strenghten their acadimic performance and motivate them to continue their studies; and adults to give their talents back to their families and communities with economic growth.
