As he ziplined through Hawaiian treetops and over rushing streams, 13-year-old Sam felt free. It was the first time in a long time that he was able to forget about his heart condition and instead feel pure joy.
This is just one of many happy memories Sam made during his trip to Hawaii, thanks to Make-A-Wish® Oregon and supporters like you.
“It was an amazing experience we shared together as a family,” said Sam’s mom. “We saw a part of the world we have not been able to visit before.”
