This project will build an house dedicated to women and girls victims of violence, rape and all kind of abuses. Our project consists of giving to them a place where they can come to find shelter, assistance, care and help. They will meet people that can receive them and assist them. The project will take place in Pointe Noire, in Congo Brazzaville, in Africa.
Several women and girls are victims of violences, rape, and some girls are abandoned without assistance. We receive this kind of women and girls daily. We try to help them with our small means. We have decided to open a center called Maison de la Femme where these women and girls can come to open their heart, share their suffering and receive assistance, care, education and hope. Only Women and Girls victims of violence will benefit from this center.
The first thing we aim to do with this project is to give a place where these women can come to receive assistance when their are in this situation. Why? Because several of them close themselves. They suffer from this situation. Here, we will help them to face their situation and talk about it to receive assistance. To these women, the center will provide with lessons on women rights, questions of gender, etc. We will organize capaigns to denounce this situation. They will receive care too.
We will help 500 women and girls by giving them care, education, some trainings that will help them in life and other that will help them to accepte themselves and help other in the same situation. Some of them, according to their availabilty, will be the permanent members working daily at the center to receive and help women in the same situation where they were too. When they will be changed, community will see it and receive the same change. Here, women are the heart of the family.
