The people of the Cusco region experienced flooding, slides and water born diseases. Local clinics thoughout the region will need supplies to serve the overwhelming medical care needs. We will be supplying the clinics with basic medical supplies. Our commitment is long term.
The Peruvian government declared a state of emergency after the earthquake. Local clinics in the Cusco region need supplies to serve the medical care needs. VIDA will be there to help this week and as needed for several years. VIDA will ship containers of surgical supplies, hospital equipment and general medical supplies. In addition VIDA will coordinate with other local NGO's to bring health stability to the region.
VIDA has a hard earned history of 20 years of delivering much needed medicines, surgical supplies and hospital equipment to over 90 micro clinics throughout Peru. This project will concentrate on our efforts to help the people of the Cusco / Sacred Valley region.
Bringing much needed supplies to the region year round will save lives and help re-establish the local clinics.
