October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Lynn Sage Breast Cancer Foundation is marking this important month with a series of inspiring events and initiatives that highlight hope, community, and progress in the fight against breast cancer. Here’s what’s happening this October:
October 16th | An Evening to Celebrate - 40 Years of Impact In Our Fight Against Breast Cancer Fall Benefit
Join us on October 16th from 6-8:30 p.m. at Theater on the Lake for our signature Fall Benefit as we celebrate 40 years of innovation, research, and hope. This special evening honors the incredible work that has been accomplished in the fight against breast cancer and brings together our supporters and partners to raise critical funds for groundbreaking research. Expect a night of celebration, connection, and inspiration as we look back at our impact and ahead to the future.
October 12th | Team Lynn Sage at the Bank of America Chicago Marathon
Our dedicated Team Lynn Sage runners are taking to the streets of Chicago for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon on October 12th to make every step count! This year, 47 passionate runners are raising funds for breast cancer research and education through the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. Cheer them on or support their fundraising efforts to help accelerate discoveries that save lives.
Chicago’s In Good Taste
Savor the flavors of Chicago while supporting a great cause. Chicago’s In Good Taste unites local restaurants, cafes, and bars to raise funds for breast cancer research. From special pink-themed menu items to unique dining experiences, every bite makes a difference. Treat yourself while helping us make an impact in the fight against breast cancer.

Shop for a good cause. Purchase 4 Pink brings together retailers and service providers from across Chicago who support breast cancer research by donating proceeds from product or service sales. Each purchase is a way to show support, honor loved ones, and contribute to meaningful progress in the fight against breast cancer.
October 23-26 | Lynn Sage Breast Cancer Symposium
Knowledge is power. The Lynn Sage Breast Cancer Symposium brings together leading clinicians, researchers, and advocates to share the latest advancements in breast cancer care and research. This world renowned symposium provides a platform for education, collaboration, and innovation, ensuring that the fight against breast cancer continues to move forward.
