We hope you had a wonderful summer and are looking forward to a great Fall!
October, which is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, is right around the corner and is a crucial time for The Lynn Sage Foundation to raise important funding for breast cancer research. This is a great time to make your annual donation to this urgent cause.
Our current Lynn Sage Scholar, Dr. Cheng is now in her 2nd year of funding and is continuing her work on the biological and components and pathways that control tumor metastasis and recurrence, which represent two of the major obstacles in the successful treatment of cancer. Dr. Cheng works diligently at the Lurie Cancer Center at Northwestern University, and we could not be more proud of the innovative research being conducted on behalf of The Lynn Sage Foundation.
We are eagerly looking forward to funding our 4th Lynn Sage Scholar in 2013 and hope to fund at least two scholars as early as 2014. With your help, we can grow our Lynn Sage Scholars program and continue to support breast cancer research until we reach our ultimate goal of finding a cure. The Lynn Sage Foundation solely funds research and is entirely donor based. With support of donors like you, we are committed to finding a cure for breast cancer.
