Summary

Epic Arts has been empowering people with disabilities in Cambodia since 2006, starting with the creation of the Epic Arts Cafe. Our efforts in Kampot are transforming the lives of persons with disabilities by fostering financial independence, shifting societal attitudes and creating more inclusive communities. But we need your support to continue and grow, ensuring a brighter future for individuals with disabilities and promoting a more diverse, equitable society.

Challenge

In Cambodia, people with disabilities face significant barriers to employment due to stigma, limited access to education and a lack of workplace accommodations. Societal attitudes often view them as incapable, leading to exclusion from job opportunities. Many schools lack resources to support students with disabilities, and higher unemployment rates result in dependency on families or charity.

Solution

Epic Arts supports people with disabilities in Kampot by raising funds for initiatives that promote inclusion, education, and employment. We offer skills training, raise awareness to reduce stigma and provide resources for inclusive education. Our efforts aim to break the cycle of exclusion and help individuals gain independence.

Long-Term Impact

Epic Arts' efforts in Kampot can transform individuals and society by providing skills training, job opportunities, and inclusive education for children and individuals with disabilities. This leads to financial independence, shifts societal attitudes, and fosters greater inclusion. Long-term, these efforts create more diverse, equitable communities.
