NEXT STEPS OF BUILDING ORPHANAGE

UPDATE : ORPHANAGE

ACCORDING TO THE LATEST REPORT, THESE THINGS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED:

* obtaining an estimate construction valuation from a potential contractor/ preferably two different ones - DONE

determining the exact location, shape and size of the plot - DONE
geotechnical research for the plot to determinate possible foundation and underground water level - DONE
checking availability for utility supplies (water, electric power, teleinformatics, sewageutilisation) - IN PROCESS
preliminary estimated table of quantities for construction - IN PROCESS
obtaining maps showing the topography of the plot and location of greenary- DONE
necessary changes to the conceptual design to adapt to a given plot. Adding conceptual MEP design- IN PROCESS. We are starting the construction of the first guest house for 12 kids. (attachment of the project in report)

Recently, during our stay in Uganda, we met with the leading bamboo producer. We obtained a quote for the house to be built and established contacts for the construction of the orphanage.
