The work continues on the Resilient Housing Initiative (RHI), with 2 different home rebuilds still in progress!
Although we've had some small setbacks due to a touch of rough weather on St. John and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, our partners at Cutting Edge Construction and J&D Woodworking remain steadfast and committed to getting the job done.
Construction crews wear their masks at all times, even in the hot sun, to ensure that they are keeping each other safe while they work. These companies are based on St. John, and their employees live in the community that they are helping to rebuild, so they understand the importance of taking necessary precautions in support of their community. And thanks to your generous donations this year, we are ready to support them by providing extra PPE if they need it.
