For more than 40 years, Casa Hogar MISION ANINI has provided love, care, and hope to children, youth, and adults who have been abandoned, orphaned, or live with multiple disabilities in Guatemala. Today, we are taking a crucial step to restore a multidisciplinary professional team that will provide comprehensive care in health, therapy, education, and social development. This team is essential to ensure dignity, recovery, and a better future for those who depend on us.
In Guatemala, thousands of children and families live in extreme poverty, facing chronic malnutrition, lack of healthcare, and limited access to education. At Casa Hogar MISION ANINI, 60 children and adults-many abandoned or living with multiple disabilities-depend entirely on ongoing care. At the same time, 500 vulnerable families struggle daily to survive without adequate food or support, perpetuating a cycle of poverty and exclusion that affects generations.
This project restores a multidisciplinary professional team to provide comprehensive care in health, therapy, education, and social support to 60 residents at Casa Hogar MISION ANINI. Additionally, through the Love for Life program, it will support 500 families with daily meals, community health assistance, and guidance for mothers. The construction of a professional kitchen will strengthen sustainable food services, ensuring dignity and long-term impact.
In the long term, this project will improve the quality of life of 60 vulnerable children and adults by providing stable, comprehensive care. It will also help 500 families break the cycle of extreme poverty through better nutrition, health, and education. This initiative creates a sustainable and replicable model aligned with the MLH (Hunger-Free Municipality) vision, expanding impact to other communities across Guatemala.
