Thank you—we can’t say it enough! Because of your generosity, people struggling after the tornado in Lake Charles, Louisiana, were able to rebuild and receive support from a local nonprofit that they know and trust.
The Louisiana Tornado Relief Fund, in partnership with GlobalGiving’s crisis response partnership with Meta, powered one grant to the St. Bernard Project (SBP) at the forefront of responding to this crisis in Lake Charles.
Your donation supported SBP’s critical work rebuilding homes for impacted community members who were not only affected by this tornado, but also the devastating impacts of the 2020 hurricane season that are still present today.
This fund is no longer accepting donations, and this will be the last fund report of this kind from our team. Thank you for advancing community-led disaster recovery.
