Since the publication of our last progress report, no new donations have been received. While we are grateful to the 63 donors who helped raise $11,372, we still face a considerable shortfall—$188,628 is urgently needed to reach our $200,000 fundraising goal.
The Crisis Is Not Over
Although the initial shock of the earthquakes has passed, the struggle continues—especially for cancer and leukemia patients living in the disaster-affected areas. Now facing the extreme heat of summer, many survivors lack access to proper shelter, hygiene facilities, clean drinking water, and seasonal essentials like fans, sunscreen, summer-appropriate clothing, and safe food storage options.
LÖSEV’s Continued Response
Through our “Truck of Goodness” (Iyilikler TIR’) campaign, we remain actively engaged in delivering aid to those in need. Our teams are working tirelessly in the region, distributing essential materials such as food parcels, light clothing, hygiene kits, clean water, sun protection items, and cooling equipment where available.
Among the over 110,000 cancer and leukemia patients supported by our foundation, more than 5,000 are in the earthquake zone. Many are still without homes and remain in urgent need of assistance.
Why Your Support Matters Now
With your help, we can continue to provide:
Access to ongoing cancer treatments
Temporary and safe summer-appropriate shelter
Clean water and nutritional food
Hygiene and sanitation kits for hot weather
Portable fans, sunblock, and summer clothing
Emotional and logistical support
Let’s Not Forget
In times of crisis, every season brings new challenges. Your donation—no matter the size—can bring real relief to families enduring both illness and displacement under the summer sun. Let us continue to stand by them. Together, we can bring hope, healing, and dignity to those who need it most.
