Longuo Primary School Lunch Program - Tanzania

Project Report | Sep 22, 2014
September 2014 Update

By Kim Krowne | Managing Director

Everything is going well with our lunch program, as all 450 students at Longuo Primary School continue to be fed lunch each day, comprised of maize and beans.  Both the cook and the security guard are also being paid through our program.

The school has also received generous assistance from others to construct a dining hall, complete with a more modern, energy-saving kitchen.  Construction is well underway and we are so excited that the food preparation will soon become more sanitary and a much easier process for the cooks.

We still look to you for donations to keep the program running.  It costs $20 to feed one child for an entire school year - what a bargain!
